Amine is my grandpa. I knew him for the last 47 years of his life. He had a tough journey in this world but was able to thrive.
After becoming familiar with Japanese Haiku poetry, I have found that genre suitable for expressing as briefly as possible events, conditions and acts that identify my grandpa as a loving grandfather who knew how to survive in a hostile environment.
